This publication analysis the design of energy efficiency monitoring procedures for the plastics converters. The most suitable method for the sector will be the achievement of this WP. The WP leader will choose the appropriate way of monitoring taking into account the particularities of the sector.

The UK Low Carbon Transition Plan details how the UK Government plans to meet the 34% cut emissions on 1990 levels by 2020. By 2020, the UK Government has agreed to, amongst others, increase to 40% of electricity from low carbon sources, with more than 1.2million people employed in "green jobs".
The Department of Energy and Climate Change website details the planned implmentation, which includes downloads of the Transition Plan and associated doucmentation. |

EU Climate and Energy Package - "Citizens' summary" (24.38 KB / PDF)

The European Commission has released a "citizens' summary" document, which highlights the action Europe is taking towards the 'climate change issue'.
This brief document outlines the actions which will be taken , the targets which have been set and the key benefits of these actions.
The EC has also developed a "Climate Action" website, which goes into further detail about Europe's action plans and policies, including details about possible grants and funding opportunities. |
