The British Plastics Federation (BPF) ran a British Pavilion at the largest plastics event in Eastern Europe called 'Plastpol', held between 25th and 28th May in Kielce, Poland. PlastPol attracted over 16,000 visitors and hosted nearly 700 exhibitors from 30 countries.

The BPF also took the opportunity to promote our "energy projects" at the event, with EUPlastvoltage literature provided both in English and Polish, a permanent presentation running on the stand, posters and pull-ups placed around the exhibition, also a Question and Answer session everyday on an energy-related subject. The was a good level of interest in our project and our objectives, as energy and energy efficiency is such a central theme for plastics converting companies.

The Polish plastics industry is the largest in the Central European region in terms of both production and consumption. Last year, plastics consumption in Poland reached over 2.3 million tonnes.

The BPF will also be attending the 'K' Show in Dusseldorf, Germany, between 27 October and 03 November 2010. The BPF will be leading a British Group, in Halls 5 and 12. The EUPLASTVOLTAGE team will be available, both promoting the project and its concept and also answering your energy related questions
